Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Rachel Forster, King George V, and Dame Eadith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
Introduction
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital rose to national prominence in 1995 when it became the subject of Channel Nine’s reality television series RPA. The top-rating series followed patients through their treatment in NSW’s premier teaching hospital.
RPA has been a respected provider of health care since 1882.
